Life sucks sometimes
A woman I know from childhood and college lost her mom about a week ago.We hadn't seen each other in years but ran into each other about 3 years ago- she lives in my neighborhood and goes to the same synagogue. Yesterday, her father died. God that sucks. I feel so badly for her- can you imagine something like that? Man, life sucks sometimes.

1. Aleha hashalom, dude...
It indeed does suck sometimes...

But there are good times, too...

Life is nothing if not full of ups and downs...

2. Very sad. About six years ago...

I helped a dear friend through a loss like that. Her parents died within a week of one another. If I remember correctly, her dad died just two days after her mom's funeral. It was a very rough summer. Especially since her sisters became absolute shrews over the estate and she was the executrix.

3. Yup, you're right.
How devastating for your friend. It's hard enough to lose one parent, but both, within such a short time of each other....whew...no soft landing for that one.

I am sending blessings of Peace, Comfort and Healing to her....

The truth is, True Love NEVER dies....
