1. TERROR, and that starts with T, and that stands for Trouble
If a team has one play that has worked, and only one, which play do they use on fourth and long?

That is right. Scare the public with terror threats. Nothing has really happened except someone in Baghdad who is a prisoner and subject to water boarding and torture allegedly coughed up this event.

Gee, I wonder if they used leading questions!

This is performance art, and no one pulls it off better than Team Bush. They jack the mayor of NYC up, then the onus is on him to act, which he does.

Bush and company practice the overriding shoutdown. They start yelling their talking points until the MSM starts repeating them. And so it goes.

2. They overplayed their hand
or rather .. they may have jumped the gun.
Rumors were everywhere that indictments were
coming down Friday and then .. whattaya know ....
out of nowhere come a rapid string of terror alerts
(the first in lord knows how long)

But... BUT.... there were no indictments!!!!
bwahahahahha !!!
It appears like someone (fitzgerald?) just threw the
head-fake of the century. Who knows ?!!!

Keep the popcorn handy.... there's a whole
lot more drama coming. Yeee Haw.

4. That makes perfect since....
I never thought of it that way.

1) Start rumors that indictments are coming down.

2) The Bush administration creates numerous fake terrorist alert to draw media attention away from the indictments.

3) Monday morning or soon after the indictments happen.

It will be very interesting to see if there are more terrorist alerts on Monday or Tuesday.

3. THE BIRDS IS COMING!!! KILLER CHICKENS!!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!
Bird flu sounds like a nice distraction. Scary Asian chicken, old ladies dying and the chance of the troops being called in to quell riots from people desperate for vaccine.

Of course if our govenment had learned from the problem with flu vaccine last year when we had to go begging to Canada, and insured the supply this might not be a big problem but I guess that would take away from a really good distraction.

5. Yeah, what about that vaccine problem last year? Think they'll try
to do better this time around? Wait, what am I thinking--spend money on the populace? Nah.
