Quick reminder: Always refer to Dobson as "Radical Cleric Dobson."
As in "Radical Cleric Dobson today announced he was supporting Bush's appointment to the Supreme Court."

That is all.

Thank you.

2. Thank you! I've always hated the buzz words
the media uses to describe those other religious zealots but not ours. Radical Cleric indeed.

3. Actually, Dobson isn't a "reverend"....His only degree is in
child psychology. He just talks with God personally a lot.... :eyes:

5. HeeHee.
I can see Dobson and God having a conversation.

"Prepare for Hell; you've caused many people so much grief."

9. Does he actually have a psych doctorate,
or is he an Ed.D. who declared his specialty "ex cathedra?' After all, what REAL child psychologist would urge parents (and yes, he damned sure did) to beat their children "until the cry real tears?"

I'm guessing this guy got his degree from the "Draw 'The Pirate' Matchbook School of Psychology."

4. Radical Cleric James Dobson
yeah, I like it.

Hell, it's true for Robertson and Falwell, too. These guys are no different than Sadr, the guy who killed Cindy Sheehan's boy.

6. Exactly! Focus on one, soon all will get the "Radical Cleric" surname.
Radical Cleric Fallwell is also guilty of harming people in the name if God. Just like Osama.

7. Shouldn't that be the Radical "Christian" Cleric Dobson?
Edited on Sat Oct-08-05 06:52 PM by NNN0LHI
Wouldn't want him confused with radical Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr or nothing. Even though there are many similarities between the two.

8. Nope. To many syllables.
Besides, they are both radicals that want to subjugate women and use God as an excuse for their oppressive ideology.

The difference is that Dobson doesn't have a group of people going out and killing people. Yet.

...the people who work there? Or do I have him confused with someone else?

14. A cleric can refer to any denomination.

Not so with Mullah.

Besides, "Radical Cleric" has a nice ring to it.

16. What network is he on?
I have cable, but an itchy remote finger too. Mostly I watch MSNBC, a coupla CNN programs, but no Faux. EVER, probably why I miss Clark?

Help me out here....what should my cable viewing be tuned too. Unfortunately, on the weekends Fox has ongoing news programs, while CNN and MSNBC have fluff programs.

:::sigh:::

17. All of the fundies are "Radical Clerics"
They are some of the most bizarre people I've ever seen. To me, the people like Dobson, Falwell, and Robertson are no better than Bin Laden. So it is very appropriate to for people to refer to those asses, as "Radical Clerics", because thats what they are!!!

people for cash. One must always remember this.
