Wish she (and Dems in general) would be a little more open about the offense to democracy the recall was. She just kind of soft-pedalled it, yeah yeah, wait and see, blah blah. Just come out and say it was a bad thing, and quit dancing around it.

Hillary can't afford to condemn the law in any state, nor can anyone in politics--they would wind up- eating their words. Haven't you noticed that everyone has avoided that issue like the plague?

Yeah, I wish they had spoken out too--but it would have been political suicide. I wish we had a couple people besides Sharpton and Kucunich willing to take that risk.

20. Hillary And Dems Need To Lighten Up

Hillary did look very cautious tonight...even in the safe settings of the Daily Show. It's as if she knows there's a million GOOP VCRs rolling and she'll wake up tomorrow and see her statements all over the place (ala VRWC) and a new wave of Clinton Hate will begin.

Well, that's gonna happen and the more she worries what she says, the more "wooden" she looks (that was Gore's problem). Hillary should come out in public and tell it like it is...call the Chimpster for the fraud he is or the hypocrisy of the GOOPs embrace of their own adulterer. Whose is she going to piss off? Rush? We know how to handle that one now :evilgrin: Tweety? Russett? Imus? What's it matter...they're all going to spin it against her anyway.

We need to get all Democrats to feel comfortable in speaking out early and often against this regime and not care what is thrown back at them. The more they do it, the more we'll stand behind them and others, who pick up on their passion, will join us. There's a lesson from California to be learned here.
