The following Senators are in favor of torture (all Republicans):
See the roll call vote on McCain's anti-torture amendment:

Allard (R-CO)
Bond (R-MO)
Coburn (R-OK)
Cochran (R-MS)
Cornyn (R-TX)
Inhofe (R-OK)
Roberts (R-KS)
Sessions (R-AL)
Stevens (R-AK)

Let's not let them forget, mmm?

1. Isn't Ted Stevens of Alaska a popular grandfatherly figure
in his state?

4. We're starting to really hate him...
Ten years ago, I would have agreed with you, but as more and more of his corruption comes to light, people here are really starting to be turned off to him, even life-long Republicans. I don't know if he's just gotten senile or if the power has gone to his head.

3. Note that all are in heavy repuke states
and won't have any trouble getting reelected. With the exception of Bond. We should never let Missouri forget about that.

9. True
But I'd say Allard would be in the "difficult to replace" column. Perhaps.

10. And I'd say you'd definitely be right...
Allard's a tough one to beat -- Kit Bond a little less so, but neither of them are up for re-election in 2006 anyway.

5. Yeah, I just sent an email to my Senator, Cornyn.
I asked him, "Have you no shame, sir? Have you no decency?" Obviously, the answer is no.
