I was just watching one of the afternoon reruns of the Daily Show. During the moment of zen, I was in the other room, and didn't see who made these comments. Did anyone see this?

I need to know who would say such a dispicable, evil, bigoted thing.

"...If we aborted every black baby, the crime rates in this country would disappear" (or he could have said diminish). I was pretty shocked by it, so I don't recall the exact wording, sorry about that.

Anyway, anyone hear this load of baloney?

It was discussed on snopes... its not patently false or corroborated....

They basically say that it is so convenient that the story includes Rice who is convenient there to give the "black perspective"

However, the paper that actually printed the story "O Estado" has an editor or owner that is known to be a friend of then President Fernando Enrique Cardoso, so it is quite possible that this story was passed from the president to the newspaper.


I think that the recent "Brazilian" joke is attributed to that original story....

Most of my responses to this are out of concern to newbies coming here to see what we are about. No one should be treated like a dummy just for admitting they don't know something. That goes against everything we all talk about around here. How can the conservatives seek out the info, if they are shamed for not knowing it in the first place?
