Its just ringing over and over. I assumed it would be picked up and screened, then I would be put on hold.

Anyone called her before and just had to wait through the ringing?

1. Wait 5 seconds after someone hangs up, then try.

And yes, you should be able to hear her while on hold.

Ive triple checked teh number and tried it with and without the one.

The first damn time I work up the balls.

3. That's probably what happens when the lines are full.

4. This is what happens when you call C-Span.

If the call is ringing, that means you're in the system and your call will be answered.... eventually.

However, some phone companies don't allow limitless rings and will cut your call off. Also, AAR has been having some phone problems.
