Okay, people. we need a large list of Shameful Actors in Congress
to use for the next election cycle. Let's make a list off all those (both sides of the aisle) who have consistently voted to screw the ordinary citizen on major bills. For example that prescription drug bill, this energy bill, the last energy bill, the credit card/bankruptcy bill.

1. There was the hearing on the Patriot Act...
Sensenbrenner shut it down while it was going on. He totally disregarded the rules.

2. Here's two names for ya:
Both from PA and both have real potential to be taken down in 06:

Rick Santorum
Melissa Hart (Pa-4)

5. Addition to PA list Phil English (PA-3)
He does whatever his party asks without a single question. And he hasn't done a thing for the Erie area. When I was at his office at the Capitol I stayed far away from shaking his slimy hand. And get this...he and Santorum are good buddies who restarted the Penn State College Republicans together (reportedly English was a teetotaler and Santorum...not so much) when they were in college. I don't understand how he gets re-elected except that the Democrats haven't put up anyone really good or put anything behind someone not so great since 1996.

English also came in on the "Contract with America" but now says that his term limit pledge was more intended as a symbol for the party than an actual rule that he plans to go by.

It was great in '02...his only opponent was a Green Party woman who had the best signs. They said, "If you can read English, vote for Benson."

3. Start with anyone with an "R" for their party
Include Biden, Lieberman and Leahy (Biden for his opportunism, Lieberman for being a DINO and Leahy for the Roberts comments).
