3. Now I want to read the transcript, since...
it was ignored by the media.

I don't trust the media one bit and I wonder why they ignored it, especially considering everything they have been purposely ignoring.

OK, tinfoil...maybe the powers that be need bush in a position to "pardon" players whose position he is not necessarily sympathetic. I guess I subscribe to the faction theory and because the media is so good at painting factions and by doing such are deliberately creating schisms that are exploitable.

I trust the media less than I trust bush. He is only one person but in a position with enough control to be controlled. The media has more control than bush does...and they are definitely exerting control. Why now?

5. Found this interesting in his speech
Some have also argued that extremism has been strengthened by the actions of our coalition in Iraq, claiming that our presence in that country has somehow caused or triggered the rage of radicals. I would remind them that we were not in Iraq on September the 11th, 2001 -- and al Qaeda attacked us anyway. The hatred of the radicals existed before Iraq was an issue, and it will exist after Iraq is no longer an excuse. The government of Russia did not support Operation Iraqi Freedom, and yet the militants killed more than 180 Russian schoolchildren in Beslan.

"The hatred of the radicals existed before Iraq was an issue, and it will exist after Iraq is no longer an excuse."

He thinks of Iraq as an "issue" and an "excuse". Hmmmmmmm, he couldn't say before he had our military invade this sovereign country that had nothing to do with 9/11, but he certainly is implying once
again that Iraq was involved with the 9/11 attacks.

And his final paragraph:

We don't know the course of our own struggle -- the course our own struggle will take -- or the sacrifices that might lie ahead. We do know, however, that the defense of freedom is worth our sacrifice. We do know the love of freedom is the mightiest force of history. And we do know the cause of freedom will once again prevail.

The commander in chief doesn't know the "course of our struggle---" Good planning, oh, exalted one. As long as he is power, we will indeed struggle---as in Iran, Syria, North Korea, Cuba....Venezuela.
