I needed to start a list. I thought it might be useful for someone else. I may have forgotten some. Please add below if I did.

http://www.guampdn.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051...

Delegate Madeleine Bordallo and other members of Congress have asked the attorney general of the United States to appoint an outside special counsel to investigate the reported demotion of former chief prosecutor Frederick Black and lobbyist Jack Abramoff’s lobbying activities for Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas.

Bordallo and the other members of Congress say a special counsel is needed to investigate instances of potential political manipulation involving officials at the U.S. Department of Justice in criminal and immigration matters relating to Guam and the CNMI.

David Safavian, former chief of White House procurement policy, was indicted yesterday on five counts of lying about his dealings with former Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff and impeding a Senate investigation of him.

The indictment accuses Safavian, who previously served as chief of staff for the General Services Administration (GSA), of falsely telling GSA officials Abramoff had no dealings with the agency at a time in 2002, the government alleges, that Abramoff was seeking to obtain use of two GSA properties with Safavian's assistance.

AP: DeLay, Blunt Traded Secret Donations

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=1189660&CMP...

WASHINGTON Oct 6, 2005 — Tom DeLay deliberately raised more money than he needed to throw parties at the 2000 presidential convention, then diverted some of the excess funds to longtime ally Roy Blunt through a series of donations that benefited both men's causes.

When the financial carousel stopped, DeLay's private charity, the consulting firm that employed DeLay's wife and the Missouri campaign of Blunt's son all ended up with money, according to campaign documents reviewed by The Associated Press.

SEC's Cox on Nonprofit Board With Frist

http://www.heraldsun.com/business/wire/22-654231.html

WASHINGTON -- Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Christopher Cox has another reason for recusing himself from an SEC investigation into stock sales by Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist: the two serve together on the board of a charitable organization that gives millions of dollars each year to promote democracy.

The SEC and the Justice Department are probing Frist's sale of shares in HCA Inc. in July, before the stock fell after an earnings warning. Frist has said that he initiated the process of selling shares in April. The hospital company started by Frist's family announced financial problems on July 13.

4. It's hard to keep up!
Such a dizzying whirl of scandals! It amazes me that our investigators and prosecutors are finally doing something about this. Perhaps law enforcement folks are fed up with the corruption too.
