Police are good tonight...we had a car stalker
trying to watch ER dog barks...I go upstairs to see what she is barking at and there is a car behind my cheapie car with its lights off and blocking my driveway. I turn on the light and the car turns its lights on and leaves.

Hubby says probably its nothing.

go back downstairs start watching ER again 15 minutes later, dog barks again. this time the same car is on the other side of the street from my cheapie car again with lights off.

I turn on light again, they turn their lights on and drive off again. This time hubby says we will watch closer.

ER again...Dog barks again...they are across street again same condition. Hubby starts walking toward them, I am on phone to 911 and the car speeds off and then turns lights on.

Police are here within 15 minutes!!!

They speculate the people are after either the tag or the car.

told us to put the car in the yard

NORMALLY cant park in the yard...some city ordinance or something...

wierd experience...OUr neighborhood is usually quiet and pretty crime free

2. Is your street dark, surrounded by well lit neighborhoods?
Could be kids trying to make out?

8. 15 min. in my neck of the woods (DE) is pretty good.
I called the cops when hubby was on a business trip because I was alone with the kids in the middle of the night and the motion lights kept going on/off. I heard loud voices in our back yard. It took them approx 25 min. and 2 telephone calls to get there. The 2nd time I called, I made sure I kept the lady from 911 on the phone until a squad car showed up. It turned out that people down the hill from us were having a grad party and some drunks literally went raccoon hunting in our yard.

5. It sounds like they were after something on your car...
calling the cops was a good idea...I hate that it took so long, but I don't know where you live at. It can take about that long around here.

Do you think you might get some sort of car alarm?

11. yup she barks at the wind!
but she would definately let us know if something was amiss.

we live in a split level house, she sleeps in the center of the stairs where she can see all the bedrooms and the front door as well as the lower level.

she is smart and all 40 lbs of her sounds very threatening from the other side of the door.
