Make a choice, then tell us why you didn't vote for the other guy.

2. Well, let's see...
Leaks from Starr's witch hunt: 2.4 bajillion

Leaks from Fitzgerald's investigation: 0

A bajillion is a LOT!

5. Are there any penalties against a prosecutor who
leaked as much information as Ken Starr did? I understand that incarceration is an acceptable inducer which both prosecutors used, but why didn't Susan McDougal have recourse against Starr for attempting to get her to present false testimony?

7. Let's give points for following process without yourself resorting
to criminal activity.

8. I'd like to hear his reason for his choice, freeptard or not.
You see, I have a theory that the right doesn't have the attention span to follow process. They're only interested in the results.

6. You need a category for "Let's wait and see how Plamegate turns out."
He may sell us up the river yet.

12. If Fitzgerald doesn't indict it's because there is not enough evidence
Fitzgerald is the consumate professional. If he has a case, he will indict. If he has no case, he will not indict.

In this case, I guarantee you, there will be indictments. No journalist would have been threatened with jail time otherwise.

18. You're probably right
I just got my hopes up so often with Reagan and Bush I, and now with W, that I refuse to trust anyone until I hear the click of the cuffs around Bush's wrists. But that's my cynicism, not a reflection on Fitzgerald.

I'm still pissed Reagan died a free man, rather than in prison for treason.

19. Well, to take a page from the right-wing prayer book...
Reagan didn't die a free man. He was given the worst punishment a human being will ever face.

14. I understand the aphorism. I don't get how your poll does it, if at all.

16. I guess you have to know what Ken Starr did wrong, to appreciate
what Patrick Fitzgerald is doing right. The difference is proof enough that there was a right-wing conspiracy against Clinton in the 90s, and Ken Starr contributed to it. Starr even said that the position of special prosecutor could easily be abused to attack someone in a partisan manner and recommended that it never be resurrected. He should know, because he did it.

Anyway, the poll results are like throwing a glass of scotch on the rocks in their faces. (bad scotch, of course.)
