22. Was short segment on ABC News - Maybe these people ratted this guy out....
This is from Sept 15.... On ABC News they just said it was an exclusive and was only being reported on by them. The person they were talking about was working in the White House.

They said it was the first time in a long time that a spy has been found in the White House itself.

Way to go BushCo! Can they get any more incompetent???

Ex-Marine accused in spy case

Tuesday, September 13, 2005

By JIM WALSH
Courier-Post Staff

A Gloucester County man who worked as an FBI intelligence analyst is accused of passing top-secret information to officials in the Philippines.

Leandro Aragoncillo, 46, of the 100 block of Branchwood Drive in Deptford, obtained classified documents concerning the Philippines from an FBI database through his job at the Fort Monmouth Information Technology Center, officials said.

Aragoncillo, a former U.S. Marine, participated in the scheme with Michael Ray Aquino, 39, a New York man who is a former Filipino intelligence officer, authorities said.

Both men were charged Monday with conspiracy and with acting as unregistered agents of foreign officials. Aragoncillo also was charged with unauthorized use of a government computer to obtain and transmit classified information.

25. "The first case of espionage in the White House in modern history."
http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/story?id=1187030&page=1
From article posted above:

Oct. 5, 2005 — Both the FBI and CIA are calling it the first case of espionage in the White House in modern history.

Officials tell ABC News the alleged spy worked undetected at the White House for almost three years. Leandro Aragoncillo, 46, was a U.S. Marine most recently assigned to the staff of Vice President Dick Cheney.

"I don't know of a case where the vetting broke down before and resulted in a spy being in the White House," said Richard Clarke, a former White House advisor who is now an ABC News consultant.

Federal investigators say Aragoncillo, a naturalized citizen from the Philippines, used his top secret clearance to steal classified intelligence documents from White House computers.
