Ok Freepertards, let's get in the mud and take the gloves off already!
You LIE and say Air America is just about done with. RIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!
FACT: Majority Report is THE most listened to radio show in its time slot (7 to 10 PM) in NEW YORK CITY on 1190 WLIB!
FACT: Al Franken is FISTING Blimpo oxyRUSHitler's audience in all the big markets!
FACT: Randi Rhodes had ONE MILLION internet listeners BEFORE Air America syndication!

Chattanooga, TN: 1310 WDOD

OH BUT IT'LL NEVER SUCCEED IN THE RED AREAS!!!! As Randi says best: "OH BITE ME!"

Lu Cifer, so how about that 0.2 share Swill O'LIEly has in West Palm...on a 50,000 WATT STATION! HA HA!

1. I grew up in Chattanooga and WDOD was the easy listening station
Edited on Wed Oct-05-05 12:39 PM by CottonBear
that moms listened to for weather, traffic and school closings.

I'm not sure of the post 1970's format.

I can't wait to give WDOD a listen when I visit there next!

Exploding freeper heads is right! Hah!

24. Cool! We moved to Chattanooga in '63 (Hwy. 53 area) Moved to Signal Mtn.
Edited on Wed Oct-05-05 11:45 PM by CottonBear
in 1974, where I lived until going to UGA in 1981. My immediate family and many friends are there. I love the area. It's Red but the geography is amazing!
I grew up with a view of the city lights from my bedroom window on Signal Mtn.
It was very wonderful. I love the mountains and valleys, rivers and lakes.
Hello fellow (former) Chattanoogan! :hi:

edit: I'm a GPS girl.

15. Hi fellow native!
:hi: I'm not originally from Chattanooga but it's my home. I've been living here since 1987 and love it in general. :) We have two democrats running for Senate and the House. Both seem qualified and would be happy with either/or.

25. Hello! I'm not a native either. I'm a North Carolinian by birth and
heritage but Chattanooga and Signal Mtn. are my hometowns. I go up there all the time to see my family and friends. Maybe we can have a DU Chattanooga meetup sometime. It was the most polluted city in the US when we moved there in 1969. It's changed so much since then. It's a great city. :)

7. I hear ya...
...hell, I can hardly get WINZ from Miami and it's a CRAP Channel station (BOO HISS) that does ye'ol hatchet job to Randi in favor of Wolf In Sheep's Clothing aka Ed Shitz.

Any word on a new Philly station?! I'm surprised the freepertards aren't going hogwild that they lost Philly, Sacramento & Charleston in one week...and some other piddle-fart 2 watt station in Lake Tahoe 2 months ago! Talk about failure :sarcasm:

10. Try listening to 1530 AM out of Ohio after dark. I get it in Athens, GA
Edited on Wed Oct-05-05 06:23 PM by CottonBear
in the evenings in my car and occasionally in my house.

1690 AM from Atlanta can be heard on the mountains around Chattanooga most of the time. Older car radios (like mine) don;t get Air Atlanta 1690 AM very well here in Athens, GA but my new work vehicle gets great reception. Must be the good radio and antenna.

Athens, GA is blue (at leat for now. The Republicans hate all of us university educated libruls, bohemoians, artists, writers, musicians, minorities, foreign nationals and poor people. ;( )
Athens has a local NPR affilliate but NO left leaning talk radio at all. :(

edit: 1530 AM reruns Randi during Majority Report then runs the Lionel show. I catch up on Randi that I miss when doing after work errands and feeding my horse.

22. WCKY 1530 only broadcasts one hour of Mike I think
or it could just be a half hour (I can't remember). And it's right after Lionel's show, then the rest of the night is preaching (until about 4am)

23. Lionel is good. He's sometimes on cable TV as the liberal guy guest.
His show has a link on DU at the top of the discussion forums. I like him. I just like Mike better. By the time Lionel comes on, I'm out of my truck and in the house where ther is no 1530 reception or Air Atlanta reception. :(

I'm in Chattanooga and I'm really excited and happy to have the show here! Only thing is I have trouble with the connection () so I'm going to try to find a new updated radio. Funny thing is I can pick up the Lionel show but not Mike Malloy. :eyes: I got Rhandi earlier yesterday afternoon. If you're wondering my area can go either way.

1997-2001- democratic mayor
2001-2005- republican mayor (now running for Frist's seat)
Currently- indie mayor (he reminds me of a Jimmy Carter type). I loved hearing Stephanie trying to pronounce a local town. It was silly cause she and Jim were fumbling around. I wanted to call in and say hi and correct them but had to go to class. :(

20. Any AAR supporters want to help me whack a bunch of Freeper buttheads...
over on the XM boards? A hugh (sp) group that keeps saying

a) AAR is losing stations,
b) AAR can't get advertisers,
c) AAR is out of money
d) AAR is a total time-buy paid for by George Soros...

there are some slimey ones in there (pay attention to "SamC" and "Kraut") that are real dicks...

wander over to www.xmfan.com and www.xm411.com and check the news/talk forum sections....
