And got to give her a big hug too. She is a wonderful and kind person. She was in Phoenix today, and this afternoon there was a march and candle light vigil. Everyone met at a small church, when she arrived she walked right up to me and extended her arms and hugged me for a long time. (I don't know her she just picked me out) I got the feeling from her she was physically tired and just needed a friendly hug. It was thrilling for me because I respect and admire her so much. We went from there down the street three block in a march to the MLK memorial. There were a few speakers, then Cindy spoke. She called for Gov. Napolitano to call the AZ National Guard home from Iraq, applause went up with that statement. She delivered a letter to the Gov. today with her request. She met with a local talk show host for several hours this morning and then went to Channel 15 news studio for an interview and to see their memorial wall of pictures of fallen soldiers. She did a fund raising luncheon and went to a flower shop meet up as well. This woman never stops, she has had a full plate each day since she sat down in that damn ditch in Crawford Aug. 6th. Channel 15 did a great job reporting this march tonight BTW. The other channels did their usual "blip", non reports. One in fact reported on the Pro War protester that was there, they said, I did not see anyone there and the other news said there was no Pro War protesters there either. My daughter, granddaughter and myself took a picture with Cindy and she signed my protest sign. I carry a sign with a picture of Bush behind Bars that says "Indict, Remove, Jail. She is a real, and honest person with no pretenses. She makes eye contact and makes you feel so comfortable. I am so jazzed that I got to meet someone so special, and honored that my self and my family can be a part of this history making event as well. My mother asked me tonight "what is next?" I told her "the end of this damn war". Cindy Sheehan is in this for the long haul until it is ended and I will support her to that end as well. Peace to all. :patriot:
