Did you ever see Thoroughly Modern Millie, the Julie Andrews pic. The photos of Ms. Miers make me think of the character Mrs. Meers played by Beatrice Lillie in that movie.

If you've seen the movie, Mrs. Meers is an extremely evil, witch-like character. Honestly, the resemblance between Ms. Miers and Mrs. Meers goes way beyond the names although I will admit there are differences.
