TAKING BACK AMERICA BOYCOTT
I received the following from yahoogroups.com in an email:

This is totally legit and very easy. Please, let's start doing SOMETHING, no matter how small it seems, at least at the beginning . As I say "you never know". Look what happened with my little idea about polling on impeachment. Did I imagine ADS and Democrats.com would get behind it and help, NO. "You never know".

Leigh Saavedra is the creator so this is totally safe.

The only thing that is being asked of you is to NOT by gas or any other products from Exxon/Mobil and to send an email to Leigh at taking_back_America2005@yahoo.com with some comment, like "count me in" or "I boycott Exxon/Mobil" in the subject line, then put your name and address in the body and hit send. You don't have to copy and paste anything like it says below. Then DO IT! Don't buy gas from them. Period.

TAKING BACK AMERICA BOYCOTT

http://www.whatididinthewar.com/boycott.html

Taking Back America is a group of patriots who know that one of the clearest ways of stopping the war machine is to diminish the funds that support them. Many of these funds are provided by donations of certain large corporations to the Republican Party which, with exceptions, supports feeding the imperialistic aims of the Project for a New American Century. (Read their aims in their own words at:

http://www.newamericancentury.org/

Participants in Taking Back American are beginning, as of October 1, 2005, a series of boycotts. Our first boycott is of ExxonMobil, which gives 96 percent of its donations to the Republican Party. ExxonMobil has additionally been dangerous to our environment, but since we are a one-issue group, our boycott is limited to let them know we strongly oppose their support of the neocon war plans and, further, intend to work ACTIVELY to stop their financial contributions to such plans by denying them OUR financial help.

ACTION NO. 1, A boycott of ExxonMobil. Please take the following pledge and send the words "I boycott Exxon" to taking_back_America2005@yahoo.com. The pledge and the names, with city and state, will appear on the website which will, in turn regularly be mailed to ExxonMobil. When you write me at taking_back_America2005@yahoo.com, please give me your name, street address, city and state. NO ONE will be given access to your street address. We keep it in a base only to validate the authenticity of our pledges.

The Pledge: "I pledge to totally boycott all ExxonMobil stations, to refrain from buying any of their products outside an emergency in which they are the only station available to me. Inconvenience or higher prices at another station will not break my pledge."

Name and Address

Remember to email the above info WITH your street address to us at:

Taking_back_America2005@yahoo.com.

Thank you and may the squeaky wheels of ExxonMobil's contribution to Neoconservative or radical rightwing imperialism be in dire need of oil.

6. Please be careful everyone !
Just make sure you know your sources. And don't make me do the "I told you so dance" :)

I only give out my personal information to bonafide Democratic/liberal websites (Kerry, Boxer, Conyers, Edwards, DU, move-on, etc) with hopes I'm helping them take back America for me/we ! :patriot: :grouphug: :patriot:
