Back to "old" news; isn't the Bennet remark controversy a smokescreen?
Just another distraction? Didn't the head of HUD make some similary racist comment regarding making New Orleans "a whiter city?" HUD is an actual government agency, Bennet isn't. By making us focus on Bennet, it takes the heat of the actual government-sponsored racist remarks of the HUD director. After all, Bennet is just a pompous windbag, but he's not a government offial. I spoke to usually-aware political junkies over the weekend whe weren't even aware of the HUD comment.

Why can't what was said be used by our side when documenting the ingraned hatred and rascisim.

No, I would not classify this as a distraction at all. My post that Conyers has 57 signatures on a letter to the radio network is getting very little response, if that is a measure.
