Just in time for Halloween--a GHOST caught on VIDEO!!!!
http://www.wusatv9.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=43427

...After finding the store a mess one morning staff at Poundstretcher on Eastgate Street examined CCTV footage of the night before.

What shocked them was the sight of a ghostly figure of a Victorian woman pushing a whole pallet of goods to the ground.

A bit of research shows that the shop stands on the site of an old Theatre - The Theatre Royal, later known as The Palace. It was first opened in 1791 and closed in 1922.

There have been previous stories of a haunting in the building. One such tale tells of a young woman who, it's said, took her own life, and was found hanging from a piece of theatre equipment...the ghost of this poor woman who staff claim to have captured on camera.

You can view the footage by following the link under RELATED LINKS, to the left of the story and below the still photos.

Never get tired of hearing how those darn meddling kids foiled another caper.

3. And of course, there is no other explanation...
:eyes:

If one of the psychics gets strangled by the Vengeful Spirit, let me know. I'd pay to see that.

Bonus if it's Sylvia Browne.

4. It sure helps when they outline what they want you to see
Looked like a fat guy in a jacket to me. I also see a guy in a sweat shirt standing and facing the camera.

6. Go to the top link, then click on the video under RELATED LINKS
to the left of the page--you can see the moving video. Completely inconclusive, but this is via BBC, so there's a little credence there.

8. Not sure I'd call that "credence."

The BBC is simply reporting a CLAIM of a paranormal event. And the film originated with the claimant, not the BBC.

I'm reminded of one time when I toured the Tower Of London. The tour guides, or Yeoman Warders, tend to be a crusty, no-nonsense lot. (For good reason. Only retired Warrant Officers from the British military can become Yeoman Warders, by law.)

One of them told us: "London has been called 'the most haunted city on earth.' I believe that's because London has more liars than any other city on earth."

9. I got no dog in this fight, I just posted it as an interesting and amusing
item. I have no personal knowledge of the actual circumstances, but seeing as it is BBC, we know it isn't a BATBOY story created out of whole cloth...that's as far as I am taking it.
