The Bob Scheiffer (CBS News) Appreciation Thread.

I get a kick out of watching Bob Scheiffer on the CBS Evening News. He seems to really enjoy what he does, and it shows. I appreciate his solid get-to-the-meat-of-it type journalism, and he always "tells it like it is." His sense of humor is great too, and at some point during every newscast he chuckles at the ridiculousness of a particular story he's told to air. I always find myself chuckling right along with him!

Bob Scheiffer never holds any pretenses. He's a very likeable, down to earth newscaster who is also a top-notch veteran reporter. I say thumbs up to Bob Scheiffer!

7. Agree and he broke my heart when he worked as a shill for BUSHCO

Guess he was worried his brother would be outta work if BUSHCO fell from power.

He seems back on his game now and I am glad, but not gonna forgive his part in spinning news during the election campaign. If things are worse in America, he bears some responsibility for it. He took part in the media help of BUSHCO instead of doing his job.

He is quick to point out any criticism of Chimpy is political in nature, but allows Puke propaganda to be spilled as common knowledge, Dan Rather was the last anchor I watched on CBS. sorry to drag in my negative impression, but he's not that great.

His brother Tom was one of Bush's business partners in the ownership of the Texas Rangers, and now he's Ambassador to, I believe, Australia. Sorry, but Bob Schieffer is a BushCo and GOPolitburo shill.
