Pentagon briefing degenerates into farce
http://www.canofun.com/blog/videos/pentagonbriefingsep2905.wmv

Rummy and General Casey started strong, but at about
3:25 point, Rummy literally cracks up during his presentation,
with the ridiculous graph, trying to explain how the reduction
in ready Iraqi troops is a good thing.

Then witness Casey's very comical befuddled expression
at about the 4:30 point, as he gets lost in his own spin.

2. Was this briefing held on Thursday?
It may be what is being shown on CSPAN right now.

Sen Kennedy asked them if it was true what his sources were telling him: That of the forces we were traning in Iraq, are 1/3 of them really insurgents that are being trained by us to later possibly kill our solders?

Rummy and co are never very informative in their responses though

6. These particular Pentagon videos provide compelling evidence
that Bush is a liar and the Pentagon plan is a failure. IMO Every person should watch these or on Cspan and get familiar with this crap. I found myself bursting into laughter numerous times listening to Casey and Abazaid in front of the Senate because what they are saying is plain absurd... and it's not being shown on corporate media.

It's not frightening. It's more like, it's incompetent. It's like thinking that the company you work for knows what it's doing and finding out that the people running it are a joke.

But, again, IMO, before Bush does his next stale Terror Terror Iraq speech, every Dem should be up on what is really being said.

And that is, that they had THREE batallions before of so-called trained Iraqis. Guess what.. they have ONE now. Why does this matter? Because they have friggin said they we will NOT leave Iraq until they are trained. And they're going backwards, despite any fine words they blow out their butt.
