1. Conspiracy theory?
Just check their website.

I would love for the PNAC to be made and all the chickenhawks be gone.

5. Michael Rubin is a strategist with the American Enterprise Institute (AEI)
AEI is a right wing think tank peopled with many GOP ideologues(Lynn Cheney, Jeane Kirkpatrick, Newt Gingrich etc), including many PNAC co-signers (Reuel Marc Gerecht who is head of PNAC's middle east initiative is an AEI member)

7. Perhaps he's just claiming they are a purely scholarly endeavor.
There's no way to deny PNAC's existence, frankly.

When someone asked him if he had any members of his family in Iraq. It was very telling that he never answered the question.

9. they need to read Barbara Lees editorial !!
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2005/100105X.shtml

FOCUS | Barbara Lee: Permanent Occupation
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2005/100105X.shtml
Anyone familiar with the Project for a New American Century (PNAC) should be skeptical about the administration's claims that it does not have plans for a permanent military presence in Iraq. According to Barbara Lee, PNAC, many of whose founders, including Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, went on to serve in the Bush administration, published a document in 2000 titled 'Rebuilding America's Defenses.' It plainly cites the objective of an increased US military presence in the region as a rationale for invading Iraq.

i guess they don't want the base knowing about this..see the sheeple dont read..they just go by their talking goons!

i just did a "feedback" piece in a local paper about pnac..because after an article about me..a man wrote in a letter to the editor about the article..called me bascially a liberal nut...

he also called PNAC a "left wing group" "determined to move the country leftward" !!!!!!

see that is what the right wing wants their base to think...and this guy who wrote that runs a republican club in ny!!!

these right wing nut cases are being led to believe PNAC is a left wing group like Move on....

and i do believe we need to educate as many about PNAC as possible..it may be old news to us..but these right wingers never read anything..they just post talking points with no brains needed or reading skills!!

i wish the paper i wrote in was online but it is not...so i can not link it....

I thought he called the reference to "neocon" a conspiracy term, but then I just turned it on a few minutes before that.

Whatever he said, was not going over, and it was obvious.

19. Actually terms like neo-con do not resonate with the public
We are being too precise ..We need to call them what they are Republicans..

If they are "in for a penny, they are in for a pound".. Everyone who supports the wackos in office are supporters of all their nutty schemes.

for us to start calling RW shows and just ask about the PNAC. Pitch the questions as if you're a right winger.

16. Yep. We are not even allowed to name the neocons by name. And
they did used to show up on the doorstep of senior RW analysts & civil servants in Washington ore the years. You open your door at 8 PM and two neocons are at your doorstep there to give you an "interview" you never asked for.

Is that a conspiracy? Cause people in Washington talk about that.

17. From "The Nation"
Michael Lind:

"As the enormity of the debacle became apparent, neoconservatives abruptly began avowing their own nonexistence. Not since Stalin ordered the US Communist Party to go underground has an American political faction pretended to dissolve itself in public like this."

As always, it's the conspiracy theories of the anti-Semites. AEI does not exist. The Right-wing ivory tower does not exist. PNAC does not exist. Neoconservatives do not exist. Go back to sleep.

23. The American Enterprise Institute is a prime neocon nest, albeit
one focusing on economics.

I'd be surprised if someone from there spoke frankly about PNAC.

I think they've adopted the Straussian/Moonie notion of "heavenly deception."
