Somebody explain to me
what Gergen meant on Hardball when he said that if GWB uses the nuclear option in regards to the fillibuster that it would compromise his ability to govern for the next three years.

I don't get it.

if the Matthews let his guests finish a complete sentence before he interrupted and spit on them, he might kick faux news in the ratings.

That is the only reason I can watch him for a max of 5 minutes

I think he WAS shrieking on the other end of the camera, but I heard the answer.

I understand what the nuclear option is, and God knows it would piss off the Dems (rightfully so) but I'm not clear on how it would make it impossible to govern... any more than Iraq, Katrina, et al.
