Thanks--It wasn't just me though--I just was able to take the photos because evreyone else was doing the hard work of confronting these ..er...teens..while I did this for the first few hours.
The Police were FANTASTIC TOO!! You could see when you talked to them!--what they were thinking--One even escorted me RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE of the " parade of Shame " to taking videos!

I hate to be a grammar nazi, but holy hell! Commas honey, COMMAS! And you put spaces between the dashes and the words, and you don't use dashes every time you have a stop. She doesn't use a period once; the closest she comes is a half-hearted attempt at an ellipse. Don't even get me started on subject/verb agreement and such like that. This goes way beyond legitimate typos. I know I'm nowhere near perfect in my grammar, but DAMN!

I too can look in the mirror. Seriously though, I have peace stickers and a no W sticker on my minivan. I carpool, stay home with my kids, volunteer at school, and yes, shop at the mall on occasion. Where I live, it's totally the red suburbs, although I know that there are hidden W haters. They come out of the closet privately and tel me how much they hate him, or they find me at parties to comiserate quietly.

I purposely try to dress nice when I'm out an about on errands, specifically because of the stickers on my car. I do find it enjoyable to f**K with their minds. I guess what I'm trying to to do in my own small way is question their fox watching stereotypes, and to make the point that "liberals look just like YOU!"

I'm a carpooling, girl-scouting, room-momming stay at home mom with a no W sticker & DU sticker on my station wagon! But I live in L.A. and really the ONLY reaction I ever get is thumbs up around here. Even from a Highway Patrol guy once! I'm sure there are people here who like * but they are so in the minority that you just never seem to run into it.

To make my scary hippie-libbie mom profile complete, I even dress right out of the thrift stores. You can get some nice stuff there though!! I scored an Ann Taylor dress at the Cancer Thrift shop last week for $25 -- tags still on it and everything, yeow!

That mother's bring kids... not babies, but KIDS, to these protests on behalf of peace! It shows the kid several things: Their mother is a peace-lover; this country isn't perfect and we are within our rights to speak out and let it be known we aren't happy with the way things are going.

I would be more afraid to have my child see me protesting against anti-war protesters!!! It seems to me that would cause the child to think their parent is pro-violence.
