I am so proud of my Dad
A conservative Westpoint Career Army officer voted for Kerry and said it was about time Delay got indicted. When I was growing up in the early 60's he lead boycotts when Black Officers were discriminated against. He's a Fl. resident and says Gore really won the election. Way to go Dad!!!!

2. that's fantastic
I wish my right-wing, John Birch Society-loving, uber-Republican father had seen the light of day, but such was not to be. You're VERY fortunate. And three cheers for your dad, too.

3. He sounds like a really neat guy.
My Dad wasn't a Dad, so I did not really appreciate how important they are until I married and saw how my husband, who's a great Dad, influenced our girls' lives. Great Dads are priceless!

4. People who truly care about America, and have really served the nation
nobly, out of love and real sense of duty, are coming to hate the neocons and their agenda as it is getting more light. Regardless of political affiliation, if one really cares about the nation, one will have to fight the neocon movement.

Hug your dad for me. Good to have him around! Being Republican or Conservative does NOT make a person bad. There are many honorable people with different political views than ours. We have more in common with them than we realize and need to reach out to the common ground of REAL American values to restore this nation.

The current GOP has left the mainstream Republicans much like the DLC has left most rank and file Dems and liberals. Too many in power serve corporations rather than the nation. THEY are the real problem.

5. A lot of military types think they're republicans...
then when they get in the civilian world and realize how Reps are screwing over people, they convert. The socialistic life of the military isn't so bad!

My dad went to the Naval Academy and was in the sub force - the most egalitarian force in the navy.

Three cheers for your dad!

7. He sounds like my dad.
Career Army officer who voted for Kerry, but initially worked for the Clark campaign in Georgia and South Carolina. He's one cool dad. Glad to know there's more like him. :-)
