Since you are bringing a controversial political personality into your sports channel, that makes a political statement. You apparently feel that it is OK to put your logo on Rush.

I therefore am taking a political stand. There will be no ESPN in my house any longer. My husbands and sons will have to get used to it. I will not tolerate that man and his views anywhere in my life and certainly not in my home.

This is what I sent to ESPN

1. You go girl
I never watched anyway. Hopefully we can get a post of Rush advertisers to boycott on DU. It brought Savage down, it can work with Rush.

2. Just the sound of Limbaugh's hateful voice
makes me want to vomit. ESPN could win me back by hiring Al Franken, who would make mincemeat out of Limbaugh!

However, as it stands, I too will find it impossible to watch. I find it interesting that Disney, (which owns I believe 80% of ESPN, as will as ABC), hired another right-winger (that annoying Dennis Miller) for Monday Night Football.

What's next, Pat Robertson in the booth leading a prayer? :puke:

10. He's an armchair quarterback
Like millions of people who have never played football.

His politics are much the same. A monday morning quarterback who doesn't know how to play the game of life because he's been spoon fed so much. (No pun intended)

11. I did the same thing -- emailed them.
I watch the channel.

But I told them I could do without it until they changed their mind.
