Why didn't major politicians go to the peace rally today?

1. Because they believe the Dem party being labeled as "anti-war" is

not good for the party. People have wrongly labeled us as "anti-war" for opposing specifically the "Iraq invasion." They conflate us being anti Iraq invasion with being anti war. They do it on purpose. They did it with Viet Nam and they're doing it now. This is why the repukes are seen as being stronger on national defense. Been there. Done that. Won't get burned again.
