The first guy I talked to was really nice. He said that the phones have been ringing off the hook with people asking why the station isn't covering the March in Washington!. I wouldn't back down and told him that I wanted to speak to someone about the content on MSNBC. He passed me on to someone else who took down my comments.

Took 12 minutes. The young man told me that they have gotten over 100 calls in the last 15 minutes and that they are setting up their trucks as we speak. Says that they will be covering it shortly. We shall see. Told him that I have been getting awesome pictures over the internet and that this is very important.

and also e-mailed both stations. Here is a copy of the letter I sent to MSNBC. BTW, I am so happy that I have Direct TV and can watch the protest on Channel 375.

Here is what I wrote:

I guess it is really true that you are scared of the bush administration!!! If you weren't afraid, you would be covering the anti-war rally that is going on in DC. How much are they paying you NOT to cover it?

MSNBC is not a cable news station. It is a lapdog for this criminal administration. I will NEVER watch your station again and I will also be sure to let your advertisers know that I am not watching, nor am I buying their products as long as they advertise on MSNBC! What a poor excuse for a news station.

BTW, Rita is now a tropical storm, not anything newsworthy like Katrina. But then, you still think that a missing white girl or a runaway bride is newsworthy! You are nothing more than another Fox News program!!!

Isn't the fact that hundreds of thousands of people protesting the war in the capital newsworthy? (Not to mention all of the other protests that are taking place across the country and in London). We don't want or need to see the same hurricane coverage nonstop--hour upon hour upon hour. Sure, it's important, but this is of vital importance also.

There are a massive amount of people surrounding the white house and marching all over the streets of Washington D.C. Why isn't this being covered? It's time to stop being a shill for the republican party and start reporting the news for ALL of us!
