I posted this back during the height of the Katrina problems. There are a couple of links in that post to some Anderson Cooper transcripts when he was reporting from Mississippi. I can only marvel at how well the focus was taken off the damage done in Mississippi. And I still haven't heard what happened in Alabama. If I were from either of those states, I would be highly pissed.

3. Hattiesburg, Mississippi

I heard an interview on CNN with the mayor of Hattiesburg 144 hours (Sunday) after the hurricane made landfall. He said more than once, with great sarcasm, "FEMA? What's that?" I'd check out their local paper or search for his name.
