1. Their time-and our time could be used better to bring in scientists to
have a good discussion about 'global warming'-climate change etc. from acedemics--a real discussion--not people yelling at each other.

5. Well, screw the reporters...
... both Katrina and Rita reached landfall in the early morning--any radiational cooling at night helps reduce the power of the storm, and that may be one of the reasons why the damage wasn't even worse, in the case of Katrina.
