Anderson Cooper. Anderson Cooper... Come on now...
I sat and watched him get blown around by Katrina and now Rita. Does he have a death wish?

I've grown quite attached to Anderson since Katrina and he worries me.

4. It's extremely important to have the best journalists on the front lines
He knows he has to be there...which makes him a real journalist.

For a live beheading from a flying STOP sign since this whole silliness of having these live, rain-soaked, "look at me I'm barely able to stand and have to shout to be heard we could DIE at any minute" coverage of hurricanes for years. I love Anderson and don't want anything bad to happen to him, of course. But they all do this. I guess it will take a death to stop it.

7. seriously
he's so tough he needs his own theme music, someone call Issac Hayes to write Anderson something catchy. Next time Anderson comes on play the Shaft theme in your head you'll see my point.

8. Been thinking the same thing:
Watched the 2 hours of News Night (was gone during 360), and toward the end of the program he could hardly keep his eyes open. I was talking to him on the teevee --- "Go inside now Anderson!! Please go inside! I don't want you to get hurt!"

11. Look, his dad died, his brother jumped off a building and his mom ...
... was the "poor little rich girl" who was tossed around from home to home.

Give the man a break. He's certainly not doing it for the money.
