4. "biblical in proportions" - I highly doubt it.
For one thing, that statement means nothing.

BUT, let's just assume that it does - that would mean that the evacuation has been in a biblically sound way, in proportion to what the Bible teaches, which means, thus, that the evacuation has been with love, mercy, and justice, remembering first the widow and the orphan and the poor and the hungry and the lame and the crippled and the blind and the sick.

I will bet money that this evacuation was both NOT effective, but most especially, NOT done in a fair or just way or in any way that would make Jesus very proud.

15. That's not what it means
He's comparing it the Exodus in the Bible. No doubt using hyperbole. I wonder if he meant "effective" to be irony, or if that just happened...

7. Governor Good Hair speaks
:eyes:

By the way, for those of you who might not know, the governorship in Texas is not a very powerful position. It's the Lt. Governor with the real power.

We're lucky to have Governor Good Hair available for all those important photo ops.

8. Biblical Proportions??
Aren't there about as many people in the Houston metro area as in the whole Middle East during biblical times? I mean, their population density back then wasn't very impressive. Something about lack of mechanized agriculture and petro-chemical economy, or something.

Goodhair. You are a dumbass.

Jesus, just shut up, will ya?

18. Oh, it gets worse. Much.
Gov. MoFo's competition for the repub nomination in the next election is little Scotty McDoubleChins mommy. Rock, meet Hard Place. Now, quit squeezin' us! **sigh**

By the time this hurricane has passed, Gov. HairGel will be the most hated man in the state. It's not the local authorities the folks stuck on those highways are expecting to receive help from, it's the state. Gov. MoHairShellacking might as well start packing.
