Is God mad at the Bush-voting south?
Had this happened in New England, Pat Robertson would have said it was our just punishment for being such libruls. Didn't he once say that Disney World would reap punishment for being the venue for gay events?

Now that repeated storms are hitting Florida and the Gulf Coast and Texas, how come there's utter silence about God's intentions?

Could all these disasters being visited on Bush-land mean ... Bush ISN'T God's President?

1. Well, the 42-45 percent of us in the South who
DIDN'T vote for Shrub might get Robertson's wrath - but not God's.

2. I was told by an Evangelical Christian friend that what happened to...
New Orleans was equivalent to what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah. She quickly became aware that I was not pleased with her opinion.

11. Unfortunately the image of God he promotes is shared by many

I think it's good to address it personally.

:hi:

6. I can't buy this because
It's the poor and disabled, elderly doing most of the suffering and dying, I pretty sure they aren't hardcore shrubbery* fans.

12. Yes most do not have any love for this monster*
Some do, though not as many. Most of the people who will suffer the most are pretty apolitical, they just don't see any one doing anything for them, now, I know they didn't anticipate just how evil these people are.
They probably had some faith that they would be taken care of in a situation like this, now, that faith is gone.

Don't get me wrong if it were just red voters and rodney richpiggie being hurt I'd be enjoying their pain and karma. I read though that NO proper went 80% democratic in the last election.

7. I recall the Oral Roberts claim that the "shroud of protection" was
removed from New York.

You are correct to mention this, these people are freaks. Osama Bin Laden said that the hurricanes are God's justice upon America - it just goes to show you that these sicko zealots are very much alike.

I believe in God, but I don't believe God built the homes along the coast. People did that.
