THE ABC T.V. STATION IN DALLAS REPORTS 20 PEOPLE ON A BUS LOADED WITH HURRICANE RITA EVACUEES DIED AFTER THE BUS ERUPTED IN FLAMES.

A DALLAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S SPOKESMAN SAYS 45 PEOPLE WERE ON THE BUS AND ``ABOUT HALF'' ARE ACCOUNTED FOR. THE OFFICIAL SAYS THERE ARE INDICATIONS OXYGEN USED BY ELDERLY EVACUEES MAY HAVE BEEN A FACTOR.
