how i feel about the democratic leaders transcends disappointment
and is drifting into real hatred. even robert frickin' byrd voted for judge dread roberts. hillary, and lieberman and their ilk have seriously made me consider running for president myself.

3. But just think of all the great things they have done heretofore (sarcasm)
I have heard this particular sentiment until I want to throw up repeatedly. Then, we get "we have to choose our battles" and other DLC talking points. The Dems in congress will NEVER choose a battle. The pukes dish it out and screw America over, and the Dems just keep taking it. As far as I am concerned, this vote was the last straw. Every democrat that voted to approve that fascist is a traitor to the party. And I will send money to their dem challengers next time they have to face one.

4. Somehow - by shutting up - the truth of all that * has done is making it -
into the news. Much harder for Bush to attack an American telling a story than Democratic politicians.

Election can only be won if Americans stop believing the Bush propaganda.

It is working. Bush at 30+ % in the polls.

5. You can let go of your anger when you realize that the dems
are merely doing what they do best; grovel, cave, apologize, accomodate.

This is normal. If you base your own mental well-being on the whims of these thankless politicians, you will be in a self-inflicted downward spiral in no time.

We need to get honest people into government. This is where our efforts should be made. We really can't control any of the rest of it.

6. There are Democratic leaders?
Other than members of the CBC that is. Where are they, I think these leaders are entirely fictitious.

10. I've been walking around in shock since big, great talker Byrd voted
for the bankruptcy bill. Now it just keeps coming! Even Russ Feingold! The dems are doing it again--snatching defeat from victory. Tossing away their base and looking like repuke lite! Damn them!

12. Byrd likes conservative judges
Always has; probably always will.

Byrd thinks that the legislative branch should be at the top of the pyramid and wants courts that will give deference to it.

13. Ethical politcian is an oxymoron.
Looking for a "leader" in the 2 wings of the corporate party is like trying to find a selfless televangelist

14. I agree
See this thread with an example of how the Dems are kept in line by big business using their wealth and financial clout to make sure that the politicians don't forget who ultimately is calling the shots.
