Do we know for sure Bill O'Reilly has a Nephew who just inlisted?
I am remembering Billy's story about being the greatest football player in a conference that turned out to be not much more than a bunch of guys who get together on weekends to play the local fraternity.

Billy has a way of blowing things out of proportion and perhaps even lying as he did when he said "Jeremy Glick said Bush was behind 9/11". Which Glick NEVER said!

Is their a way we can check out if he REALLY does have a Nephew who just inlisted or if he was just trying throw Donahue an irrelevant Archie Bunker curve ball because he didn't have any other angle to throw back and Phil?

Who is this Nephew? Have they ever even met before? Are they close or was he just a convenient tool to hide behind?

1. I've come to the conclusion...
...that Bill O'Reilly should be deported to a nation that better appreciates his type. Somewhere like North Korea or Iran. They appreciate moral crusaders that like stamping out and shouting down dissent. Can we send him somewhere else, please?

2. This is my first post---O'Reilly has 1 sister and I imagine that
it would be easy for someone from LI to check whether he has a nephew in the service.

Five sisters and six brothers is about the norm for a good son of the sod of his generation. Ah well, he's an Orangeman at heart anyway.

10. If he has one sister, and she has a son
then the nephew is lucky - he doesn't get the automatic association with BO.

8. You read my mind... and I did some digging
He has one sister named Janet who was a nurse. Nothing turns up if you google Janet O'Reilly but if you search on his wife's full name (Maureen McPhilmy) and Janet you get some interesting hits, including the Habitat for Humanity New York City charity website.

The term Nephew would imply either his wife's nephew or his sister's son. So you would need to track down both to find out.

It sounds like we need to keep digging. I wouldn't have a clue where to start. Any more ideas?

12. I'd be interested in finding this out, as well.
He wouldn't let up on the issue and I highly doubt any of his family would be over there. Any ideas, anyone?

13. O'Reilly Info.........

O'Reilly was born in New York, New York to William and Angela O'Reilly, from Brooklyn and Bergen County.

He has a younger sister, Janet. He and his family moved to the relatively affluent suburb of Westbury, New York when he was a toddler.

O'Reilly married Maureen McPhilmy, a public relations executive, in 1995. They have one daughter, Madeline, born in 1998, and a son, Spencer, born in 2003.

-------

I am sure Al Franken and David Brock will get to the bottom of the claim his nephew joined the army. So I believe we will hear about it in the near future, until then I would not believe it.

16. His nephew may also be on his wife's side,
that would also expand the possibilities.

Also, just out of curiosity is this his first marriage? And if not, is it possible his nephew is from that first marriage?
