1. I loved his dad on WKRC here in Cincinnati

met him several times and he's a genuinely great guy. I worked on his Congressional campaign last year and was so disappointed that he lost. Don't think he'll try again.

4. Haven;t heard yet on a challenger

I think Nick was just done in by the viciousness of the whole thing. Also, his son-in-law died suddenly right before the election and I think he just lost heart for it all. Sad. He's a tremendous guy.

3. he was great on Letterman last night

talked about his hotel/casino he's building in Las Vegas, and will give 25% of his share of profits to help world poverty.

he also got in a little dig at Rush. He was talking about surgery he had on his spinal cord (he had a runny nose and headaches, thought it was a sinus infection but it was spinal fluid leaking from his nose!). He said he can understand now why some people, "like Rush Limbaugh" (loudly emphasizing the name) get hooked on painkillers.
