If anyone has a copy handy, I'd like to see it.

1. VOTE YES OR NO ON THE RECALL MEASURE BELOW
Shall GRAY DAVIS be recalled (removed) from
the office of Governor?

YES
NO

------------

The Candidates to succeed (replace) Gray Davis
if he is recalled (removed) are listed on this
page and the following 6 pages

VOTE FOR ONLY ONE CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR

(then the candidates are listed in kind of random order)

2. and then the numbers for candidates go from 11 to 179
Bustamante is number 31 which is pretty good because he is the first of the major candidates still in the running, the groper is number 37, Camejo is 69 and McClintock is 162. Arianna Huffington had a good one..16, she was on the first page, Gary Coleman is 67 and Larry Flint is 111.

3. Hmm
On my copy of the ballot, Cruz is 2nd to last. I wonder if it's different in different parts of the state??

I am in Los Angeles County. I thought they were all the same but apparently not, that's not good. :-(

5. Why not good?
I thought the idea was to give different areas different orders, so there was less of a chance of ballot order influencing the vote. It sounds OK to me.

6. I meant it wasn't
good that Bustamante is at the bottom in some places, anything that makes it harder to find someone can hurt Democratic chances. Having them in different places on the ballot hopefully will help to stop the usual repuke cheating though.
