greg palast article
i need some help here...a freeper on another board is insisting that the palast story isn't telling both sides.

he says "That's because Davis's people where in the room too and Davis had received campaign contributions from Ken Lay. That's the problem with being a political Whore. It makes it difficult to point fingers at other people."

is there any truth to these allegations??

2. I made a pretty thorough study of the meeting
While Riordan was there, I saw no mention of any Gray Davis people or him.

It was Arnold,Lay, Riordan, junk bond king Michael Milken, and a few other non notable finance types. But I think if Davis' people were there it would have recieved some notice from the press at the time.

3. I'm not sure but in the memo it was going on
how such and such was a very wealthy REPUBLICAN. Also, I noticed that Earvin Johnson was listed. I didn't realize Magic was in on it too.

10. Davis wasn't on the list of attendees OR invitees
in either memo. I would think he would have been listed. But it IS definitely strange that neither Davis nor Bustamante has been talking about this. Busta could have at the very least told us about his lawsuit against Enron!!
