Downtown SA was on fire tonight. I went to see Wayne Shorter. The quote unquote evacuess were in attendance. It was a fuckin street fuckin party. Brian Blade on drums John Pattitucci Bass Danilo Perez keys. Wow. Free to all. Must have been 10,000 easily.

in Texas. What an asset for us if they do. And if they do, I hope they can find venues to perform at. This ain't NO!

I showed up for the end of this LA band.... they were kicking ass. Apparently the event had been going on all day. Then Wayne shorter's band set up and it was like Miles and the rythm section. I mean take no prisoners. Brian Blade on drums is the man!!!!

7. I love San Antonio. I'm glad these guys can make their music in such

a gemütlich place, surrounded by a crowd that truly gets into their spirit and loves their music. Like New Orleans, San Antonio weather is mild in the winter, and the Riverwalk, with all its streaming lights and many musical sites and crowds of friendly people, all reflected in the water, will be a good place for them. Not home, nothing can replace that, but a place where they can have their music the right way surrounded by great audiences.
