Why Chavez must die.
"In a form of energy diplomacy, Chavez has extended a preferential oil trade deal called PetroCaribe to 13 Caribbean countries in what he says is part of a plan to challenge U.S. economic domination of the region."

"Under the plan, Venezuela will soon sell up to 190,000 barrels of fuel a day to countries from Jamaica to St. Lucia, offering favorable financing while shipping fuel directly to reduce costs. It is expected to help those countries save millions of dollars."

ANY DOUBT THEY WILL KILL HIM NOW?

3. They do believe it!
Remember Bolton's rant about the UN, something like "if it's in America's interest and only when it's in America's interest. And it you don't like that, I'm sorry."

They're same one that bitch about the Government "stealing my money".

5. That's actually one of the first precepts of foreign diplomacy
A country really only has as much of an interest in foreign diplomacy as it has justifiable interests that are touched upon by foreign powers.

As much as preserving our national interests is a basis for diplomacy, it is also perversely a basis for wars of aggression.

The fine hair to split is that it is our "values" (the real ones, not the thing about diddling butts) that drive which way we interpret that.

If our values as a nation are to care about the bigger picture of the world and about the little people that make it what it is, then it is only natural to pursue every conceivable avenue of diplomacy and cooperation first.

If our values as a nation are arrogance, hubris, and exclusive selfish self interest at the expense of all else, people, political systems, economies, and the environment (welcome to Bushco, Inc.) then we are going to continue to aggressively manipulate and/or invade country after country for oil on one pretext or another, sooner or later.

6. They probably wanted to but I think the Bushitas are cash strapped and
have sunk our Army to the point that we can't take on Venezuela while we are dying in Iraq and New Orleans.

9. If it happens,
he'll be a martyr. I'll push it just as hard as anyone in Venezuela will, too.
