4. So what are they saying? I'm at work. This issue appalls me.
It's nothing more than the scam they got going in Iraq but here.

I'll bookmark this thread so I can check it. Thanks to any and all who provide info.

OH, BY THE WAY...

What are the pundits saying about the 'speech' last night. I saw a poll, participated in a poll, on MSNBC and it didn't look too good for the lying Connecticutt Cowboy.

What's the prevailing opinion, or is there one yet?

Again, thanks a bunch.

8. It's about questionable contract awards to Halliburton
Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 09:20 AM by Lasher
Top contracting official Bunnatine H. Greenhouse, a senior military procurement official, has been demoted, allegedly in retaliation for openly criticizing a multi billion-dollar, noncompetitive contract with the Halliburton Company for work in Iraq.

She's really blasting them and has specifics to back up her testimony.

9. The Audio of Ms.Watts meeting with her chain of command is great
Did you hear his tone of voice? They have truly tried to bully her I am so glad this investigation is going. LtCol. Fagen should have been the one fired. I surly appreciate her reference to the GOOD O BOY network. She has um on the run now!!

19. Right, she even said this had been a problem...
for years, during both Democratic and Republican administrations. I don't think it has, to this extent. It was Republicans who put no-bid contracts into Haliburton's slimy hands, and it was Republicans who demoted & otherwise attacked her when she got in their way.

Looks like she needs to rethink her decision to be a Republican. Plus, she's a black female who filed an EEO complaint, and mentioned the good ol' boy network today, and she's still a Republican?

She seems pretty smart, but I don't understand that. Maybe she's rich.

13. Having been a whistleblower myself, I know what a tremendous
stress it can be to take on the system. The system expels you and tries to ruin you. These women have great courage and are dealing with much tougher entities than I was. It takes a long time to salvage your life after dealing with a corrupt organization with any degree of power and money. My heartfelt thanks and appreciation goes out to them.
