Chertoff, "the superdome is secure." Showing police officer saying there was confusion. Buses finally start to arrive, but the drivers don't know where to go.

No police. No National Guard. No Red Cross. No nothing.

Woman crying, saying "I don't want to die like this."

30 times the SWAT team tried to enter the Convention Center (?) and were driven back by gunfire.

This police chief is doing a good job w/ Koppel. "You tell me how we were supposed to take it back over. Were we supposed to have a shootout? In the midst of CIVILIANS?"

1) The decision to evacuate people to the Convention Center was a DHS one, not the Mayor. The city never anticipated having to provide security, police, etc. at that facility.

2) We must fix our communications systems so that we can know what is happening on the ground when we have these types of disasters.

3) All Bush administration officials were clueless, inexperienced, and/or liars.
