28. AutoComplete/AutoFill
I've set my browser so that when I get to a web-form I click "AutoFill" and the form gets filled in.

To adjust AutoComplete settings

You can configure AutoComplete to save and suggest only the information you want. You can choose whether to use AutoComplete for Web addresses, forms, and passwords, or not use it all. You can also clear the history for any of these.

In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
Click the Content tab.

Under Personal information, click AutoComplete.

Select the check boxes for the AutoComplete options you want to use.

See if that helps.

12. And here's an opportunity to influence how disaster relief affects the
poor and communities and cultures of the Gulf coast.

Urgent! Senate committee wants Katrina input - deadline TODAY 9/11

The Senate H.E.L.P. Committee (Health, Education, Labor and Pensions) has been requesting input on Katrina reconstruction. The deadline was changed from Friday 9/9 to Monday, 9/12 (but presume 9/11, by the end of today) to allow more input. I don't know if DUers are aware of this. It's a great opportunity to help influence the treatment of survivors and the fate of the Gulf coast.

The email for public input is listed below. These emails are going to start being reviewed by committee staff tomorrow (Mon, 9/12). I heard about this on a CNN radio rebroadcast of the Senate H.E.L.P. Committee roundtable (of disaster experts) on 9/8, but could not get this posted until now.

Email: katrina_comments@help.senate.gov
Senate H.E.L.P. website: http://help.senate.gov /
(The ranking Democrat is Sen. Edward Kennedy.)

My input to the committee is at:

27. We don't have time for a new investigation
Can't Fitzgerald expand the scope of his ongoing investigation to cover the complete failure of leadership at the WH and DOD and the impact it had on the storm?

If we go this route, things could go a lot quicker because we already have an onging investigation in place that wouldn't require Congressional approval or even DOJ approval.

34. Why not
Ken Starr started out investigating White Water and ended up investigating every aspect of Clinton's sex life.

I think Fitzgerald can find legitimate linkages between all the events of the last 5 years.
