Why isn't anyone in the media saying Bush is unfit to lead?
It's painfully obvious to anyone paying the least bit of attention, so it's about god damn time our liberal representatives in the media start saying so. This man should not be in charge of our security or any other aspect of this government, and yes, I know he isn't REALLY in charge of any of it, but the fact remains that our pundits need to start saying this.

2. Damned Good Point!!!!
This guy has no business being in charge of the most powerful weapons in the world! It's more than obvious that he's incompetent to hold the highest office in the USA. Then again, it's not people on this board that we have to convince, it's the American public.

3. That's the problem with this board.
We all agree Bush is an idiot. Problem is, 99.9% of Americans don't belong to DU.

4. I don't think it's the media's job to make a JUDGMENT call like that...
They are to report the news and the pulse of the nation

But it is the people and the Congress who have the duty to say:

Bush, get outta there.....you are unfit.

8. I'm not talking about reporters, I'm talking about pundits like Krugman
and Conason, not the talking heads. Liberal pundits should be pushing this idea that Bush is unfit at every opportunity.

5. Because it isn't their job to tell us what to think
Their job is to inform us. They've been dreadful at that for some time. At least now they're doing an adequate job.

Once we have the infomrmation, we'll think for ourselves. Bush is doomed.

9. Capt Queeg measures the strawberries
Like Captain Queeg in the Caine Mutiny, so goes CIC Bush.

Capt Queeg's 'fitness for duty' was questioned by his crew, but their argument against him didn't get traction until Queeg "snapped" during testimony on how he tracked down the strawberry thieves.

It is a dream of mine that after a few more "where are the WMDs" questions, Bush will take the little steel balls out, roll them in his hand, and SNAP on live TV in front of the world. Then it would be bye bye time.

10. I think he is getting close to that
especially with his statement about Iraq not letting the inspectors in and that's why we went in.

You know if Bush did crack up on TV, life would be easier for the rest of us. There were people who never understood what a crook Nixon was and they didn't know why he resigned. Bush needs to crack up on TV. Then all but the most rabid right wingers can see for themselves that this man is incompetent.
