O'Reilly...Actually being (somewhat) fair and balanced??
Edited on Fri Sep-09-05 12:05 PM by pointblank
He is talking about how there was not enough NG down there quick enough...and that there is no way to mainatin order in a city that large without a LOT of troops.

He just said (paraphrasing) "The mayor, Chertoff, Brown and Bush did not act quick enough"...leave out the mayor and LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, we have a FAIR statement!!...

At LEAST he is putting some blame where it rightfully belongs. he is also bashing the feds for ignoring the levee problem for decades.

This in no way absolves him of all of his past sins and bullshit but I am SHOCKED to hear a righty talking head at least ACKNOWLEDGING that Bush screwed up. Hannity, from the 30 minute drive home sessions I have listened to lately, has not ONCE menitioned Bush's ineptness.

SO hesitantly, and meekly...I say >>>>>>>>>>>>>go bill?

NAH, fuck him, he's still a blowhard.

edited to alter title a bit.

1. It's called spreading the blame. Their strategy, with FEMA's failures
so obvious, is to spread the blame around.

3. True.
But, in all fairness, a REAL freeper would NEVER acknowledge that chimp did ANYTHING wrong...I just thought that a guy like O'Reilly would be in lock step.

6. Don't fall for his phony criticism of Bush - it's all a trick to make
you think he's fair and balanced.

Ever hear of a snake-oil salesman in a carnival?
