2. Three red states
who, excepting Louisiana, will bend over backwards to appease Bush even now that he's exposed them and the country to a financial quagmire on top of a political and military disaster.

Bush could have an open affair with a woman named Katrina and the Republicans would still take Alabama and Mississippi in 2008. Louisiana is in play now, but only a fool would put it in the blue column just yet.

Meantime, us liberals will fight for proper funding for reconstruction, with our blue state tax dollars, of course. We're just doing the left thing here, hoping against hope that you reflexive Republicans will one day come to your senses.
