Do You Have a 2006 Gameplan? Here's Mine.

Friends, Fellow DUers

We as a progressive community have a gargantuan task ahead of us before summer of next year. With election season fastly approaching in many of our prospective states, there is a sense of urgency to vitalize the liberal movement further. My committee and I have devised a way to get the ball rolling in our neck of the woods.

1.The War of the Words-The Republican machine is a decadent one. It's certainly never failed to be, after all when you base your whole system around lies you will only crumble. This is the mindset of the party. Lie until you loose credibility and turn across the aisle and lambast the efforts to make yourself look better. No more, we have said! With the powerful tool of the internet we are currently promoting the basic truths to all through pooled emails, fliers and the occasional paper with references to reputable sources. This isn't an attempt to spread hate and discontent amongst the party ranks, rather the expose the truth to all, and to make sure the voter is educated in the system before they vote.

2.Publicity Stunts-We are pulling just that. My committee is a group of about 20 people who are excessively busy with sending invitations, correspondence opportunities, and other ventures worth making public to all Republican constituents. We do this by sending them the aforementioned items, and then posting their disapproval around the base(s). It is an effort to show that their congressmen and women simply do not care for nothing but themselves.

3.Show We're the Good Guys-And we are in this fight. Our party makes itself public in utilizing the "Liberal Servicemember's Committee" name in newspapers and across the Web. We do everything from read to kids to promote tolerance amongst our peers and also provide ecological support to the enviroment. We are leading the fight against cleaner water and mandatory recycling on base.

4.Spearheading Washington D.C.-We have our eyes set on the national level. We are to small to fight state by state county by county. We have focused on a campaign to either hurt or discard a Republican's chance of winning next year. Our eyes are on the goal, and our pens are writing out of control.

We understand that all of us are activists in a way, and we look forward to the day when all of our fruits fall from the tree that we have planted. It's people like us that sway and conquer all that is evil.

Good luck to all.
