The critical reason why Bush/FEMA MUST be the focus of attention NOW!

Hurricane Katrina is over. The mistakes have been made, and the damage done.

Part of the blame may lie with the mayor and governor, but there is NO DOUBT the days after the hurricane were horribly mishandled by FEMA and its leading cast of incompetent political hacks. Even Republicans recognize this.

There is no point at all wasting time right now investigating the mayor and governor. Their failures, if any, are now for history to decide.

But we still have the same incompetent bozos running FEMA, and new future risks, known and unknown, loom menacing over the horizon. Another hurricane threatens the US mainland as I type these words. People who hate our guts may be placing a nuclear device in a US city.

We are at grave danger and all the Bush administration can think of doing is defend their political position, lie and do photo ops
