Possible silver lining in the fact that reporters are being banned?
I mean...we don't do this in America.

If the press is kicked out, that means the Administration knows they've lost them. We often speculate they are in the Rightwings back pocket with the checkbook, but this is a sign that they can no longer control them.

Funny how the first September of each W term has contained a catastrophe. Does anyone know if any other President has had such a huge body count on their watch? Possibly Vietnam, but there's 3k during 9-11, 1800+ and counting in Iraq, and potentially 10,000 in NOLA.

Of *course* they don't want to play the so-called "blame game". They know where it's going to point.

3. I pray the media is on a roll. They have to be because we are
aware of what happened. Fuck Bush and his cronies. They are murderers. (I read that on DU, but it seems to me they are.)

8. I'm sorry. I'd read a couple of different posts about
the press being banned from NOLA, and I didn't back it up.

But...I don't know if this is true or not...didn't they ban pictures of the dead? Just like pictures of the coffins of Iraq casualties?
